We welcome you to Colegio Gran Bretaña (The British School). We are highly pleased that you are considering our school for the education of your child. We accept applications for pupils from Nursery (3 years old) to Year 13 (17 years old).

Our procedures are explained below, but would suggest you contact our admissions officer (571-6760391, 571-6761847 or admissions@cgb.edu.co ) to arrange an appointment to visit the school and attend an informative talk addressed to interested parents.

If you are interested in choosing Colegio Gran Bretaña for your child's education we would appreciate your completing our PRE-INSCRIPTION FORM,  for each of your children.

Both parents and prospective students must then attend an appointment in the school to take the admission exams and to have an interview with our school psychologist. These appointments can be scheduled only on Monday or Tuesday mornings.

The following documents must be provided on that same day to complete the Admission Process. Only complete applications will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee.:

• Student’s photograph (document size)
• Completed REGISTRATION FORM
• Transcripts:

* Nursery and Reception – Preschool Reports
* Year 1 to Year 8 – Last two or three years of schooling.
* Year 9 and above – Official Sealed Transcripts
• RECOMMENDATION FORM filled in by the child’s actual teachers.
• Birth certificate or ID and a copy of the passport.
• Bank Reference, income certificate and (or) company letter.
• Receipt for $ 25 dollars or $50,000 cop, issued by the school’s accountancy office. (Admissions Fee)
Once a place has been offered and you have decided to enroll your child in our school, the MEDICAL FORM ENGLISH, MEDICAL FORM SPANISH (which must be signed by your physician) must be completed and the corresponding contracts will be sent to you for completion.
