Our main goal is to ensure that the institution offers healthy and balanced food on a daily basis. We promote the consumption of proper food that helps our students grow strong and healthy.
We are conscious of the increasing food-related problems that people have begun to face in recent years, especially children and teenagers: obesity, anorexia, and bulimia etc.
For this reason, CGB wishes to continue applying its philosophy (based on our personalised education), in the selection of proper meals as part of an additional learning experience. We continuously encourage our students to be autonomous, and to be able to analyse and recognise by themselves the kind of food that provides them with the necessary elements for a healthy body. Furthermore, we believe that it is important that our students follow healthy diets at home, so we need to count on the parents’ support. With that aim in mind, we are constantly sending home informative circulars and organising conferences led by diet experts
Most importantly, the food committee supports our multicultural community and respects the different tastes and food preferences within school. As not everyone will feel satisfied by a single menu, we do try to ensure that the cafeteria offers varied dishes in order to satisfy the majority.
