Colegio Gran Bretaña is undoubtedly a unique and very special school combining six very special characteristics that no other school offers elsewhere in Bogotá or in all Colombia.

3. A curriculum based faithfully on the National Curriculum for England and Wales from Nursery through to the university entrance with additions to allow American nationals to meet U.S. High School requirements.

Personalised Education is a much used phrase these days but where can you find classes with an English native speaking teacher trained and experienced in the delivery of the English National Curriculum teaching a class of 15 students and where 70% of the class are drawn from 20 other nationalities and where the language of communication of the students is English both in the classroom and in the playground.
New students and families to Colombia immediately feel welcome and at home in this small family style school, while Colombian children experience a warm, welcoming internationally enriched environment and at the same time they are fully immersed in the English language from 3 years of age.
Each student is initially assessed using UK National Curriculum standardised tests and then helped to set their own individual learning targets. From that point onwards they are individually tracked throughout their time in Colegio Gran Bretaña
Colegio Gran Bretaña offers a unique educational service of the highest quality that cannot be challenged by any other school in the country. It is the only school with a double international accreditation in Colombia. With the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) in the United States. The school is also a University of Cambridge accredited International Examinations Centre and prepares its students for the IGCSE , GCE AS/A2 and US Advanced Placement Examinations, as well as for the UK National Tests.
This means a student will be able to graduate with up to three academic credentials.
1. University of Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A level certificates, with all subjects taught through English as a first language.
